Yep! It's in the teleportation section on page 286. It requires LoS, but not LoE.
Wait, teleport requires line of sight?
Yep. Isn't it awesome? We finally have an answer for those people who whine about the Eladrinhong said:Wait, teleport requires line of sight?
I must say, while still remaining in the Wait-and-see camp until I see it all, that I dislike that point of view--If a Tiny creature, PC or not (perhaps reduced in size temporarily), wants to use a variety of weapons, I'd like a baseline. It's not hard to put in one line for that. That said, I can easily houserule it if necessary, of course. It's just weird to omit it.Jack Colby said:Are there Tiny PC races? If not, it doesn't matter what weapons one would use.
I admit, it matters a lot to me if you can use a d2 because I've heard about some possibly-questionable game mechanics in 4e that are guaranteed to lead to infinity damage if and when d2 becomes a viable damage dice.weem said:A Large dagger would indeed be 1d6 as a normal (medium) is d4. That also means it is a 1d4 for Small creatures as well. So a Tiny could be a 1d2 sure, or a 1d3 - whatever works best for you I would imagine. If it were me I would vary it based on how effective I thought the particular weapon would be.
There's a ritual that draws a circle that goes to some permanent circle whose ID-key you already know. So you can basically Town Portal without issue (though rituals are expensive), but less willy-nilly teleporting.hong said:Although... does this mean that globe-spanning teleport at higher tiers is also out?
Dividing damage dealt by 1d0 is potentially problematic.Rystil Arden said:I admit, it matters a lot to me if you can use a d2 because I've heard about some possibly-questionable game mechanics in 4e that are guaranteed to lead to infinity damage if and when d2 becomes a viable damage dice.
