Well, since they are always surrounded by destruction or at least in damp caves, isn't there usually about a foot of mist on the floor? Does it matter?

We generally assume hooves. If I had my choice and this were a vote I'd go for tentacles. Got to keep that party guessing.

I put feet on my minotaurs, but face them backwars so you only see the heel from the front. That way, they look more like hooves.
