Mirror of vanity?

Maitre Du Donjon

First Post
Hi all, in the Generic Bard NPC description, in the "other magical gear" section, there is note of a mirror of vanity +2. Anyone know what this thing could be? its description doesnt appear in the DM's guide...

I suppose it was the first cha-boosting object, which was later replaced by the cloak of charisma...

Thanks in advance!

Maitre D.

You're correct. It was later decided that all ability enhancing items should take up a magic item slot.

Of course, you could still have an ability enhancing item that doesn't take up a magic item slot but it'd be twice as expensive.
