Kickstarter Misbehave - A fantasy adventures where you are the monster (sort of).

Hey folks,

Figured we’d share something I’ve been working on (and yeah, it’s on Kickstarter soon, so feel free to poke at it or ignore it as you please). It’s called Misbehave, and it’s a collection of three small solo RPGs where you don’t play the hero, the wizard, or the noble knight — you play the other side.

Each of the games puts you in the shoes (or claws) of a different “monster” — a goblin, a kobold, or a tired city guard who’s seen way too many adventurers come through the tavern doors swinging. Every one of these has its own mechanics and tone, but they all circle the same theme: what does the world look like from the other side of the dungeon door?

The first one, Goblin, is already up as a print-and-play (looking for content creators to review!) if you want to see what it’s about. It’s light, fast, and the rules fit on a couple of pages — no need for spreadsheets or 300-page manuals. You roll dice, make choices, and somehow it still manages to tell a story. Sometimes you end up the Goblin King. Sometimes you just end up dead in a ditch. Either way, it’s your story.

The other two — Kobolds and The Guard — are still being illustrated, but they’re shaping up nicely. The kobold one is all about digging tunnels and managing your little crew to gather treasure and attract a dragon (because that’s basically religion for them). The guard one is more about surviving your shifts in a city full of half-drunk adventurers who cause more trouble than the orcs outside the walls.

If you like small, thoughtful games that remind you why we started playing in the first place — to tell stories, to roll dice, and to see what happens — you might want to give this one a look:

Click “Follow” on that page if you want to get the updates as we go — we’re posting behind-the-scenes stuff, early art, and dev logs there. Plus, it’ll ping you when the campaign actually goes live in March.

We’ve even got a playthrough by Justin Alexander up there (and yeah, he actually won on the first try, which isn’t easy).

Anyway, I’d love to hear your thoughts — especially from anyone who’s into solo RPGs, journaling games, or just likes seeing goblins get a bit of the spotlight for once.

Game on,
