Missing Character Conditions

What character conditions are missing and what rules do you use for them:

First two:
Sleeping: is helpless, wakes with a listen check DC is 5 for loud commotion, 10 for average or 15 for quiet or equal to the move silently roll 15 minimum (for being quiet).
Intoxicated: is -2 dex and -2 wis but gains the toughness feat.

A sleeping character is unconscious, therefore you use the rules for unconscious characters from the DMG (i.e. helpless). Admittedly there is no Listen DC for waking up, but that is because Listen DCs are based on a sound, not your character. The Listen skill does state a penalty of -10 to Listen checks for sleeping. Hence, it follows (though it is not explicitly stated), that if you hear something while asleep, you wake up.

Rules for intoxication are found in Arms & Equipment Guide, although the value of those rules is debatable.

We are missing a character condition for morale however. A system of morale bonuses and penalties based on the character's morale might be interesting.

I dunno if I like the "You hear something so you wake up" bit. After all, I can sleep through some pretty heavy background noises but still get up at my alarm clock.

Under your view, people would just never be able to sleep.

The key is that if you hear something abnormal you wake up. Like if you are listening to the ambient noise of the forest, you drown it out, but if a twig snaps, you roll a Listen check.

Ah yes, -10 while sleeping. Interesting widget.

Wow, I just read those rules... They are lame! I would make it a con check not a fort save. So a 20th level character under those rules would need to have 40 drinks or so before he got the first -1!

Yeah, a good place to start would be looking at the morale bonus spells like:
Blessed- +1 morale bonus to Attacks and saves against fear.

As I said, their value is debatable. Making it into a Constitution check is a pretty good fix though.

Logically then all poisons would have to be constitution checks as well.
Characters in D&D can voluntarily fail a save too.

Very true. I suppose it should be based on fortitude saves and you just have to say "its d&d".

Are their any other missing conditions, anyone can think of?
