Mixing with D&D?

Call me Johnny-come-lately. I just picked up Arcana Unearthed and I like parts (classes and magic system) and don't care for others (races).

Have people taken Monte's races and magic system and used the D&D core races?

Can people share their experiences mixing and matching the two systems?

What's not to like about the Mojh and Faen? All the races are cool when you take the whole game into consideration... Also consider that the Faen are actually just two types of halflings and man, the Litorians are bad.

IMO: you may use any PHB race with AU classes and magic without problem. You could also allow a few PHB non-spellcasting classes such as Barbarian, Rogue, Monk, or Fighter. Adding spellcasting classes would prove more hazardous however (unless you keep them clearly separated).
