MM2

I bought the mm2 when it came out and am a little disappointed. Some of the monsters are cool ( crytal dragons, deathbringer, pheonix, ect...) The templates are pretty cool though,( death knight, legendary monster, chimerac creatures, ect...). All in all if you like unusual creatures that most wont use then this book is for you.

I have looked it over. I feel my money was well spent. The intro chapter clears up a few questions from MM1 and the templates are kewl. Many old favorites in between. As for others, depending on your gaming content and style, your mileage may vary. I know mine is still good.
