I've had this urge the last few weeks to make a Kaiju thing for MnM. I blame it on Godzilla: Save the Earth for PS2. Nothing like throwing King Ghidorah into the Space Needle... but I digress. I know there's other Kaiju fighting games out there, but I really think MnM would fit extremely well, and, well, I'd rather use MnM.
It wouldn't really be a full setting or campaign: rather, it'd be a goodtime, "beer and pretzels" game where you just make your Kaiju, and battle it out. While I'd like people to make their own, I realize a lot of folks too would probably like to use the original Japanese guys. I'll follow up this post with the status of the various Japanese Kaiju, whether PC or NPC.
Anyway, care to just kick around ideas on this or how to handle it? I'd like to have some sort of mechanic on teaming up with NPC Kaiju, which would be the second-tier Japanese monsters -- King Seesar as opposed to Godzilla. The ones probably few people would want to be, as they have few powers, but who could be very useful in a fight. And then of course, there's the occasional team-up of PC monsters (Godzilla, Rodan and Mothra for instance). And then of course, the big ol' Destroy All Monsters style brawls.
