If you want to do Blast, by making it ranged (standard) it costs +1pp/rank or 2pp a level. For a rank 8 Blast that would normally cost you 16 points. You could put a limitation on 4 ranks of that saying you need 'gesture and spoken words' to bring to cost down to 12 points. This would mean you use gesture and speak your words of power you can cast the spell at rank 8, or you can use it at rank 4 but remain silent and not move, etc. It would have to be power that costs at least 2 points a rank or has a cost of 2+</blockquote>
