Haiku - excellent. However, if you don't want to buy it on pure faith, perhaps I can help.
The Mother of All Treasure Tables is published by Necromancer Games. It is currently available as a PDF from DriveThru RPG, but can be accessed right from
EN Game Store through their new arrangement. (Don't ask me about that part!) It is 162 pages, and an 18.8 MB download.
There was no single parenthood for this book - it is published by Necromancer, but written by
Tabletop Adventures. We had 16 people (mostly freelancers) help create this baby!
I definitely think it's possible to get your money's worth from this book. There are almost 700 treasure sets. (That's an average of 2.9 cents per treasure for the PDF version.) These could be combined into 10,000,000,000,000,000 (10 quadrillion) possible combinations of treasures below 100,000gp in value. Plus we included a few over 100,000 gp in value, just because every game needs the possibility of
really big piles of treasure at some point.
Although there are long lists of treasures, we divided them up to make it easiest for a GM to use the book. The only dice you'll need are one set of percentile dice and one d20.
I'm really tempted to go into a lot more detail here, but instead I'll point you to the
product section of the Necromancer Games forum. The entire introduction is posted there, along with information on the primary writers and other tidbits. However, I'll be happy to answer any questions ya'll may have here.
Oh, and just to make things difficult - we at TTA nicknamed the product MATT. We've typed it
way too many times in the past year to bother putting an extra letter in all the time.
