Modern d20 maps and such...

Our group is starting a modern Call of Cthulhu game and we're looking for maps to use in our games. Not just street maps though, but maps that show at least buildings, but I'd love details like streetlights, benches, etc. When I originally played CoC in the late 80's (and we did a modern variant) we used to use some great Marvel super hero's game maps of New York which showed all kinds of details and some greatly detailed Shadowrun maps. Anyone know where I can find maps in this style? Or even better in the "5'=1"" scale, but I'll take any scale. Thanks guys!

One idea is to pick up mobile home floor plans and any architecture books/magizines and perhaps blow them up to size. Great for apartments and such

mapquest has arial photo maps of many major cities. Just search for the address you want and if there's an arial photo of that location, there will be a tab over the image.

For normal dwellings, try Googling various combinations of words like floorplan, house, architect etc. and you should find plenty of sites selling plans for self-build houses etc. The level of detail in the sample plans you can download are plenty good enough for role-playing purposes.

Waht I would love is the old Marvel maps that came with the TSR Marvel Superhero's game released in the 80's... those street maps were great. The old DMZ Shadowrun box set had some amazing maps as well... if anyone knows any current sources for maps in that style, please post it here .

I'm also looking for a map of at least one section of New York that shows buildings (not necessarily their interiors), not just roads. I've looked at some of the satellite photos, but those are too blurry and too messy to really use well.

One side is 1" hexes for GURPS, Hero and the like. The other is 1" squares (I think technically they're on a scale of 6' sq. feet, but I can deal with the building being off-scale by 16% <g> )
