Modern Dispatch Wave 2

Vigilance

Explorer
Just wanted to take a moment out of everyone's day to remind them about our Modern Dispatch weekly ezine, and, for those who were unsure what sorts of things we were going to cover, to let you in on the contents of the first 2 issues.

It's only 6 bucks for a 3 month subscription for a 5 page PDF each week. Not to mention that each issue comes complete with a coupon for one of our d20 Modern products (you can't beat that for a value).

Issue #1 was an article written by me with a simple set of rules to convert armor to damage reduction as well as rules for weapon armor penetration and inserts to customize armor for specific tasks (not bad for 5 pages if I say so myself).

Issue #2 just "shipped" today and contains a selection of street-oriented NPCs who each have some skeletons in their closet. To assist you in digging those skeletons up it also includes some rules and guidelines for investigating NPCs.

Fans of Blood and Fists will also be pleased to note that this week's issue contains a write-up for Lin Qi, the mastermind of the Hanmei, written up here for the first time straight from my home campaign. This week's coupon is also Blood and Fists II for a mere 4 bucks.

Thanks for listening :)

It is definately a good investment. The first few issues have been of great use so far. A great continuation of the work that RPG Objects is doing.

Thanks, we have enjoyed doing it. It’s a nice change of pace as the content is a bit different than what we normally put into larger ebooks.

Dang, that is expensive!

I'm sure I follow you on that. $6 for 60 pages is expensive? $1 every 10 pages costs too much?

I went to BK yesterday, got a number 10 (double cheeseburger, medium fry, medium coke) for $4. 1 meal = 2/3 the price of what RPG Objects is offering.

Hell, I can scratch up $6 in pop bottle returns in less than 2 months. I fail to see where the "expensive" part falls in, especially since you're only paying $6/3 months, and they give you 12 free limited-time coupons.

I'd say its a worthwhile investment, but hey - that's just me.
