Modern Minis/Floorplans

I thought maybe you did when you mentioned some of them in the first post. Here is another possibility:

I like this guy's stuff.

The website says he charges 10% of the order to ship worldwide.

Thanks,
Rich

Oh cool, thanks! I have been more able to find old west/US civil war minis for a Deadlands game than I could find modern minis for any kind of modern setting, but this is along the lines of what I was wondering might be out there.

Awesome rgard, thanks! I had emailed the guys in our group the copplestone minis and we were about to pitch in and get a bunch from those guys, but I'm glad we waited, because several of these new ones you linked from em4 might be more what they were looking for to represent their PCs.

As a side note, I found WarWeb sells the copplestone minis in the US, along with a bunch of other minis. I haven't fully explored their website yet, but they have some terrain as well.

Thanks again!

Good to hear!!! I'll check out WarWeb too. I didn't know they sold copplestone minis here in the US. One thing to remember on the Denizen minis. While they are great sculpts, they are 25mm and will stand a little shorter next 28mm minis.

For terrain, you may want to look at

1. Games Workshop stuff. The put out a boatload of buildings for use with 40k in the past year. Most have a gothic look to them.

2. Dwarven Forge (they do Fantasy/Dungeon terrain mostly) did have some Sci-Fi terrain as well.

3. There are alot of pdf terrain products out there. If you don't mind printing on cardstock and spending the time to literally cut and paste it, some of the stuff looks great. With pdfs, it's a renewable resource in that you can print multiple buildings and arrange them differently.

Thanks,
Rich

There's probably a thread some where on EnWorld listing all these links and products we've talked about here, but I don't have the patience to try to find it.

I'll use the information here and start a new thread so we can always come back to it or refer others to it.

Thanks,
Rich

I used to play WFB ages ago, so I do have some terrain, but none of it modern. Not only does GW and DF put some out, I found a lot more on WarWeb. Which would be great, for a Deadlands game! Almost none of it is modern-ish. Armorcast does some resin stuff that might not be too sci-fi for modern, but I haven't checked in ages.

One newcomer to the terrain market is Pegasus. They have some prepainted terrain, but almost everything I've seen of theirs were fences (including barbed wire), sandbags, barrels, crates, etc. Although I did see a prepainted river section set and a cottage. I'll have to see if I can find them online and see if they have any modernish stuff.

Didn't the GeoHex guys have some stuff once upon a time? Weren't they bought by the guys that do Full Thrust?
