Modern Minis: Where To Buy?

Iron_Chef

First Post
Looking for high quality modern 28-30mm minis, like guys in trenchcoats, rednecks with shotguns, nerds, cheerleaders, jocks, military, SWAT, etc. Plastic or metal, the less assembly required the better. Thanks!

I'm needing them to represent players for my Zombies!!! board game (instead of the generic "shotgun guy" minis supplied with the game).

http://www.wargamesfoundry.com/ Check out there Street Violence range, perfect for what you want.

http://www.gisby.org/fw.htm Mark Copplestone's Future wars also perfect for D20 Modern

http://www.ainsty.co.uk Check Ainsty's Urban Legends and Vacant Lot ranges out for scenery, its like DwarvenForge but unpainted and for a modern setting.

http://www.em4miniatures.com/ Check E4's Combat Zone for Grenaders old range of modern figures (very good) and their prepainted range as well.

That's about it from me, although I believe there is a Modern Counter pack available as well.

Edit: Whoops I nearly forgot http://cold-war.co.uk/ who do a great range of zombies, if you are having zombies in your modern game, and a resin PBR if you want to roleplay Kerry getting his medals.

Zombies board game is a completely different scale so unless their getting attacked by pigmy zombies (sure I've seen that in a film somewhere :D ), it doesn't seem to work.

Thanks for all the great links you guys!

I already mixed in painted 28mm zombie minis from my D&D collection into my Zombies game and made them "Uber-Zombies" that are only killed on a 6 and move twice as far for every point of zombie movement you roll. Mixing in other scale minins is fine.

Fiery Dragon ( www.fierydragon.com ) released Counter Collection 3: Modern, which got nominated for Best Aid or Accessory at the 2003 Ennies. Dozens of unique characters, plus animals, vehicles, monsters (all donemy me) and two pages of superhero counters (done my Atomic City's creator Jay Stephens).
