I'm rather curious how many are out there...

I've own Spycraft's Modern Weapon Guide and Ultramodern Weapons by Green Ronin and I also know of WotC's Weapon locker but are there anymore out there? (As always I prefer print but I would be interested to hear about the pdf market also.)

There is also the Big Bang series from Alternate Realities Publications. I believe they are available in print, though you can find out some information at RPG Now.

Also, both Blood & Guts: Modern Military and Blood & Guts: In Her Majesty's Service do have weapon's listings. Information for them is over at RPG Objects.

I pretty much use Ultramodern Firearms - it's "good enough" for my purposes stand alone. I've heard good things about Dana Jorgensen's stuff though. Like, really good things.

Thanks Krieg!

I've been writing about firearms for years for my old CyberPunk and Twilight 2000 campaigns, and am now bringing a lot of my near-future firearms to press through the BlackHammer Firearms series of PDFs. In the series, we will also be visiting some further future guns (PL 6, 7 & 8) as well as some more primitive designs suited to games where fantasy and modern mesh (firearms of the elves, dwarves, gnomes, drow, etc, of Progress Levels 4-6).

My boss is happy to hear that. Big Bang: The Mostly Illustrated RPG Guide to Modern Weapons is an ongoing series, consisting of 15 books published in the last 18 months, plus several ancilliary products. At least three more books will be out before the end of the year. More than 600 pages have been published, detailing well over 600 weapons. The series takes a different approach to small arms in that a very detailed description of the weapon is provided, covering history, development, and whatever qualities or flaws the weapon might have. We also provide the weapon's performance data where available. Finally, the weapons and variants are statted out in 4 game systems, including D20 Modern, Action!, FUDGE, and the company's house system, CyberThriller.

One final thing needing mention is that the weries covers all small arms, not just the slug launchers. That means plenty of grenades, rocket launchers, guided missiles, AA missiles, etc.

Unfortunately, sales for the print version have been abysmal, so it has drastically slowed the release of the print versions.

Anyway, if you're interested in checking out the Big Bang series, here's a 25% discount coupon link for purchasing the PDF. And yeah, anyone else can use this coupon, too. http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=425&products_id=1634&coupon=71266

Don't forget Encyclopedia Vanguard from FFE, this has been a very reliable book for modern arms and vehicles.
It also give some great info on terrorist groups.
