Guide of Modos
Once upon a time, there was a roleplaying game that used simple commands and a three-attribute system to walk players through countless community-designed adventure scenarios. All you needed to play was a cool character name and floppy disk drive.
That game was the Wonderful World of Eamon, and the time was 1980. This game is Modos Roleplaying Game, and it doesn't require the floppy disk drive.
Instead, with the version 1.4 rules module, you can design and cast spells faster, get more creative with your low (or high) contest rolls, play lots of different game styles on-the-fly, and plug-and-play your own rules into the five standard 1.3 rules modules: core, PC, extended conflict, combat, and magic.
The rules are free and even cataloged for all your game-designer needs (open game license).
