Hi guys,

It is true - I have seen it with my own eyes! Fighting through hordes of raiders and Centauri attack fleets, our dogged transport arrived at our warehouse last week and began delivery of the Babylon 5 RPG. And it looks _very_ nice. . .

The Babylon 5 RPG, as I type this, is being shipped from our warehouse to the distributors, meaning you will begin seeing it on the shelves of your local shops (and will thereafter be available from our web site).

Throughout this week, we will be previewing bits and pieces of the rulebook, and will be putting the Character Sheet up for download too - the first preview can already be found at;

http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/pdf/b5preview2.pdf

More will be appearing in the Free Material section everyday, so stay tuned!

The first supplement for the Babylon 5 RPG, the Fiery Trial story arc, is reported to be having the finishing touches put to it at the printers and is being prepped for delivery - at this time, we are expecting it to go on sale a week after the main rulebook. I'll keep you all updated as to the status of this book too.

Be seeing you,

again with the grayscale?

The preview does look nice, but as with the Armageddon book I notice you've doing a lot of gray-scale background behind black text. Are you trying to make all your customers blind or what? :)

Seriously though, what is the deal with making books so hard to read? Please tell me at least that the background is not as dark as the Armageddon book. I found that one all but unreadable (granted, my eye sight is not what it once was, but if I'm having to strain to read something it goes back on the shelf pretty quick).

Thanks.

Indeed it has, so watch out for it!

It just showed up at my door. I've just gotten through the introduction by JMS (almost worth the fee for entry in and of itself!) and glanced over the rest of the book. So far it appears to be everything I had hoped it would be.

Thanks Mongoose!

Got my copy in the mail today.

Pretty. Preciousssssssss. Must keep it safe from the nasty shadowssssssss....

Uh... rather, very nice layout and a lot of cool ideas incorporated into a summation of the first season along with new rules. Definitely Babylon 5...

Now if you will excuse me, I need to get back to reading my precious, err... Babylon 5. :D

Matt. Just got my copy of the B5 Core Book and upon the primary obligatory flip through it looks great! I cannot wait to run this...maybe we will start this Friday...hmmm.....

However. There is one thing that is just...well, errr...blah! Not only is it in colour...which makes copying it on the ol' xerox a bear, but it WASTES a ton of space at the cost of most of the text being SMALL ...which makes copying even worse.

If I may be so bold (obviously, I am, since I brought it up ;)) as to suggest a PC sheet...in plain old black and white, using maximized space with a bigger font...that would be way cool.

Likely I will still make my own...but some people don't like or want to or can do that.

Other then that I think it looks great...I will be back with more imput and "wow this is so cool" I am sure as I read it!
