I'd by it even if I wasn't actively playing D&D.

For me, this gets back to the price point. If it's $50 like Conan, I'll probably have to pass or buy it online for a discount because like many, I have fond teen memories of that game and even ran some AD&D stuff in that setting using one of the old world books but for a game I probably won't run, the price has to be right.

Hi guys,

Just a quickie update on Lone Wolf. . .

It has been set for an April release next year. We have had some trouble, due to ill health, on the production of some of our lines but, for once, other projects have been bumped in favour of Lone Wolf - so it is certainly on its way!

Conan and Lone Wolf, while both at least based on the d20 SRD (Conan is going to be OGL and there is a 50/50 chance Lone Wolf will be, though with a 'full' d20 option), will not be directly compatible in terms of taking characters from one and using them in the other without change. Conan is full on swords and sorcery. With Lone Wolf, we are going to pay a nod towards the original game books and make it d20 Lite. Rumours that we will have a big gridded chart in the back of the book with numbers 1-20 are entirely unfounded. . .

We have yet to set a price for it but, unless we end up doing something _very_ special with it, Lone Wolf will likely end up being in the $30-35 bracket.

After the Jovian Sunspot in B5 (I know some people who have actually made the cocktail after reading that), we may give the Brew a miss

IMHO, it's lone Lone Wolf w/o a pencil marked chart of numbers in the back.
