Hi guys,
One month draws to a close and another beckons - it must be time for some new books from Mongoose Publishing! We have some real treats lined up for you in June. . .
First out of the bag is The Slayer's Guide to Dragons, written by Gary Gygax. Larger than the normal Slayer's Guide at 128 pages, this book is chock full of dragon lore and artwork by the talented Chris Quilliams. If your players are having an easy time with dragonkind, this is _the_ resource for you - written by the one man in this world who knows more about dragons than anyone!
Continuing the new Planes series, we have Zahhak, Ashen Waste of the Abyss. Penned by Mongoose-writer Alejandro Melchor (Constructs, Shamans), this is a truly harrowing place to take your party. Chances for survival - low to none. . .
Newcomer to the Mongoose stable, Chad Brunner, continues the newly inaugurated Encyclopaedia Divine series with Fey Magic - Dreaming the Reverie. The Fey are a powerful force in any gaming world, but often take a back seat in actual campaigns. Now you will be able to interact and bargain with the mightiest of the Seelie and Unseelie Courts. Have a care though. . .
Hammering in at the end of June will be The Quintessential Elf, a 128 page tome guaranteed to provide everything you will ever need for your Elf character. Learn the mystic (and often magical) arts of the elves, as well as perform trick archery shots, animal taming and much, much more!
Though slated for a June release, some of you have been lucky enough to find the Judge Dredd roleplaying game in your local games store. For those still waiting, I would beg just a little more patience - it is on its way! Following hot on the heels of this magnificent full colour 256 page hardback is the game's first supplement - The Rookie's Guide to the Justice Department. This 64 page sourcebook will give Games Masters and Judges alike everything they need to know when dealing withthe massive resources of the Justice Department - more specialist judges are included, as well as additional back-up units, cloned bloodlines, Mechnismo robots and Urban Nukes (I kid you not!).
Happy gaming, one and all!
