(Mongoose) New Power Classes?

Bard Games latter went on to do the Atlantis Trilogy as well as Talislanta. Good stuff and their Beastmaster with it's ability to 'turn' animals was cool.

Me, I'm waiting for a bounty hunter core class that doesn't make me shrug my shoulders.

I would love a beast caller or beastmaster type class.

There's a core class called the Animal Lord introduced in Fantasy Flight's Sorcery & Steam book, but I don't think it's quite what you're looking. The Animal Lord is a character that has been "raised by wolves" (or some other animal) and gradually gains certain abilities related to that animal.

However, I don't believe such a character gains the specific ability to CALL ON such animals (not even the type that raised him/her). Don't have my book in front of me to confirm that, though.

Yup, seen that one as well. It's good, but I am looking for something more in lines of a generalist animal master. No focus on a specific animal. Perhaps I will just have to suck it up and make a custom class. Unless the good folks at Mongoose are going to do a power class book on one....................

I was hoping to put such a class into my campaign too, perhaps by tweaking the Hunter core class in AEG's Mercenaries. I'd even considered combining the bounty hunter and assassin concepts into a single core class (i.e., good characters could be bounty hunters but not assassins; neutral and evil characters could choose their path), but I've gotten nowhere near trying to work out the logistics of the skills and abilities.

However, if Mongoose wants to write up a bounty hunter Power Class and save me some work, I'm all for it!
