On July 22nd, Mongoose Publishing is once again throwing open its doors and welcoming the gaming public for a fun-filled day of games and gaming! We have lots of special events planned for you throughout the day, so swing over and let us take care of all your gaming needs from dawn until dusk (well, nearly).
RuneQuest
The all new RuneQuest will be present, with games being run throughout the day so you can get your first glimpse of the new mechanics and Glorantha in the Second Age. No prior knowledge of RuneQuest is necessary, so feel free to drop in and see what all the fuss is about! Places will be assigned on a first come, first served basis, so turn up early if you want to be guaranteed of a place!
A Call to Arms
We have some very exciting battles for the Origins Award winning Babylon 5: A Call to Arms running throughout the day. Make a stand for humanity at the Battle of the Line, take a fleet of White Stars against the insidious forces of the Shadows, or watch the League of Non-Aligned Worlds make a combined effort to stand against a greedy Narn Regime intent on territory. Beginners and veterans alike welcome at these games.
Starship Troopers
In the morning we will be running a series of introductory games for Starship Troopers (again, an Origins Award winner) designed to get you through Boot Camp as quickly as possible. In the afternoon, we will be staging a huge multi-player mega-battle around the Defence of Outpost Kappa Seven, as the beleagured forces of the Mobile Infantry take shelter behind the walls of their small fortress. Will they be able to hold out long enough for the Mighty Fleet to rescue them, or will the bugs swarm over the defences, leaving no one alive?
Paranoia Mandatory Bonus Fun Card Game
The other games are not fun. The Origins Award nominated Paranoia Card Game is fun. Play Paranoia.
Starship Troopers Bring and Battle
Bring a legal 2,000 point painted force (or two!) for Starship Troopers, and we will we match you up with fellow players in our Bring and Battle.
A Call to Arms Battle Royale
A new resource-rich world has just been found near the Rim, and all the governments have sent a force to claim it. Think you are a good player of A Call to Arms? Want to prove that your chosen race is the best in the galaxy? Bring a small fleet of just one point at Battle level, and take part in our multi-player brawl in the Battle Royale! Expect alliances to be made and broken throughout the game as each player persues his own objectives!

Bring a legal 5 point painted force at Raid Level for A Call to Arms, using the Tournament Lists, and we will we match you up with fellow players in our Bring and Battle.

As always, the Mongoose trade stand will be present for you to pick up the latest goodies - including the all new RuneQuest!
Sneak Peeks
We will have a range of pre-release models and books on display for you to see what is coming out over the next couple of months, along with mock ups and concept pictures of super secret projects currently in the works.

We will be opening our doors at 10am, and closing them at 6pm. We are making arrangements with the many, many food dispensers along our street, so expect some good deals for refreshments on the day!
