Hi guys,
On Saturday June 4th, Mongoose Publishing is throwing open its doors once again to welcome gamers and fans into our offices for a day packed full of fun, excitement and adventure! There will be lots of events and cool things to do, such as;
Babylon 5 TV star Claudia Christian (Commander Susan Ivanova) will be appearing to meet and greet fans of our B5 games and sign your books, as well as let you all know the details of her latest project!
Demo games will be running all day, including;
Try your hand at our 2,000 point Starship Troopers battle and experience all the delights of a pitched fight against the bugs.
Ian Belcher has a very experienced bunch of perps for Gangs of Mega-City One here in our office - can your group of Judges successfully apprehend them?
The latest forces for Mighty Armies are available for you to test out, along with some interesting war machines.
The ISA will be trying to halt illegal Centauri blockade runners in A Call to Arms.
Games of the Conan and Babylon 5 RPG will be running throughout the day.
In addition to the demo games, there will be a Starship Troopers Bring 'n' Battle - bring along your 1,000 point Mobile Infantry or Arachnid army and we'll set you up with an opponent so you can see just how good you are. Mongoose staff will be on hand to advise you on some game winning tactics for your force!
Enjoy a painting masterclass tutorial from Mongoose Painter Adrian Walters, who will show you just how easy it can be to get good results with your Mobile Infantry, Arachnids and Babylon 5 ships.
As always, the Mongoose shop will be open for business, and will be featuring some rare/hard-to-find Mongoose books and miniatures, as well as a limited selection of pre-releases.
Added to all that, you will have a first hand opportunity to hassle the Mongoose game designers and let us know exactly what you want to see in your favourite games!
The Mongoose Open Day starts at 10am and will go on until 5pm or so - entry is absolutely free and all you need bring is yourself (and an army if you want to take part in the Starship Troopers Bring 'n' Battle).
