Hi guys,
A quick reminder about Mongoose Publishing's forthcoming Open Day. . .
We are throwing our doors open at 10am on Saturday November 6th to the public! Entry is free and you are welcome to come to Mongoose's offices and join in with the fun. You will be able to hassle Mongoose staff about upcoming projects, hear the gossip of what is going on in 2005, play _loads_ of games (including Starship Troopers and Gangs of Mega-City One!)
We also have two guests down for the day. Wargame-supremo Andy Chambers will be on hand to field your questions on the all-new Starship Troopers miniatures game, as well as run exclusive demos - this is certainly not to be missed! We also have Joe Dever, the creator of Lone Wolf, who will be sitting in on the Lone Wolf RPG scenarios we will be running - he will no doubt also be happy to sign any Lone Wolf books you have in your collection!
Many people who have expressed an interest in coming down thus far have also announced their intention to pick up all sorts of goodies we will have on sale. In light of this, we have completely re-evaluated our stock system in the UK and _everything_ that is currently in print and in production will be available - if you come, we will be ready for you! We will also have one or two exclusive bits and pieces that are not available elsewhere. . .
There will be many events going on throughout the day, including;

Mini Mighty Armies Tournament
A Call to Arms
Gangs of Mega-City One
Paranoia XP
Painting Demo
Book Production Demo
Lone Wolf
And much more - if I can find a small table somewhere and there is any interest, I may be running a Battle of the River Plate demo using our Victory at Sea WWII Naval rules, unreleased thus far. . .
As mentioned before, entry to the Open Day is free to anyone who can make their way to Swindon (in the UK) on November 6th. More details and a full map can be found at;
