(Mongoose) Paranoia XP - Service Pack One - Now Shipping!

Hi guys,

Just a quick note to let you know that Service Pack One of the main Paranoia XP rulebook is now shipping to distributors and will start appearing in shops within the next week or so.

Predictably, the initial print run of the Paranboia XP rulebook did not last very long - and that is all Service Pack One is, the reprinting of the main rulebook. There are a couple of format changes here and there (we'll be listing these on our web site soon enough) but nothing major. As far as collectors are concerned, however, while Service Pack One is a more recent printing, it will have a slightly lower print run than the original rulebook - if that matters to you! You can identify the new printing by the legend 'Service Pack One' under the main title.

Cool! I was hoping/praying that this would sell well. I have always felt that the fun of this game has always been under appreciated.

Should we expect that the next printing, Service Pack Two, will make your game lock up?

Seriously, I am glad to see this coming out finally, but surprised it will have a smaller run. I think (hope) that this one will disappear almost as fast as the first, now that the word is out. I know I will have to increase my orders.

A third of the new print run has gone already - it looks like Service Pack Two will be out shortly (and in greater numbers ).

Out of curiosity how big of print runs are these? It is great to see this being that successful.

I would have to go back over the records but I believe we cleared 10,000 copies sold a whiole ago. . .
