cool

Dear Matt
Sounds great. I love the concept of shamans and want tointroduce them. I am going to get all 3 of the versions that are released now(ish)....your one, Green Ronin and Spells & Spellcraft. When in May are you expecting it to hit the shelves (UK especially)? Hopefully early.....by the way as April is halfway through, when do we see Battle Magic? (Quint Cleric is great - I feel best of the series so far)
Thanks

John, if you're into shamans you can check out the one I posted on my web site a few weeks back -

http://www.bombshellstudios.com/d20/shaman.pdf

It's not supposed to compete with the ones coming out in print from Mongoose, Green Ronin et al (I myself am greatly looking forward to all three books). I just did it originally for another project but it ultimately didn't make the cut.

Dear Chris (Mindcrime)
I checked out your pdf shaman. Very interesting and accessible - easy to slot into a game without altering too many rules, etc. I think the products coming out will focus very much on the role-play aspect of spirit interaction, whereas your version allows that to be a backseat if you want to play it that way. A pity you could not complete the project with more shamanistic spells (loved the Transmute Disease to Vermin spell......just may need to borrow that one), etc. I suppose you have seen the "SPIRIT MAGIC" section at the Netbook of Planes site.....so far a 40+ document on spirit magic and shamans....still more versions to come. Very much focuses on creating interactive spirits to roleplay.....also has the Spirit template. Definitely worth a look if you like Shamans. With all these 5 versions of shamans out, will be difficult to judge which one to use.....best bits of all of them if that works?

Cool, Matt. Thanks for the heads up! It should be interesting how this stacks up against Green Ronin's Shaman's Handbook!
