Signs & Portents is going through an exciting new phase!
As Mongoose Publishing has grown and developed into both a roleplaying and miniatures game publisher, we have noticed that Signs & Portents has struggled to keep pace with the diversification. We have therefore decided to release two versions of the magazine, one dedicated to roleplayers and the other dedicated to wargamers – each will be jam-packed, every month, with articles, new rules and cool things to try in your favourite Mongoose games.
That was not enough for us though, oh no. Two full colour 72 page magazines every month? How could we better that? What about giving the magazine away for free – after all, our customers have already bought our games, should they not get the support for those games as part of their investment?
It was a persuasive argument. However, printing a full colour magazine can be an expensive process and there was no way we could give away two issues every month. So, we have moved to the electronic PDF format, allowing gamers the same high quality Signs & Portents, in the flavour of their choice, from any computer system with access to the Internet.
