My opinion
Ok, I haven't been able to read it all, so I'll pass on judging the content.
I have one major problem with the book, and that is the fact that they don't make it easy for you to identify where the material is taken from. They do follow the license and all, and they don't have to identify who wrote what, but I would have liked them to do that. At the least I would have liked them to list the individual authors where so possible.
Again, not something they have to do, but it would have been nice if they had.
They layout is fairly plain, and they use a combination of fonts that make the book feel... strange, awkward. The art is average.
All in all, a nice book contentwise, but the implementation leaves somewhat to be desired.
Hmmmm, I'm not helping much, am I?
Ok, let's say this. I won't be buying The Ultimate Game Designers Companion II. Unless they fix the attribution thing. Yes, it means a lot to me, I like to see authors getting credit for their work.
Cheers!
