Mongoose Undead or AEG Undead...Opinions?

The worst of their errors... again, I know we make errors but still... had to be in the "brochure adventure" Jerimond's Orb... map of the city but no map of the final area... an interior "crawl" of sorts... locations with numbers... but no map.... what's worse was I was running this one with my wife and did not discover this flaw until the middle of the game! AUUUGGGHHH! So much for winging it without preparation beforehand!

Necromantic Lore

I know you didn't ask about this, but you might also look at Necromantic Lore from FFG if you are looking for an undead bestiary.

Ooooh yes, Fantasy Flight Games has such interesting creatures... I know these aren't technically monsters per say but I was really, really impressed with their Mythic Races book.

As far as necromantic supplements go, Thee Compleat Librum ov Gar Udok (PDF, coming to print under a different name, I think) has gotten some good reviews here as well. I haven't read it, though.

See Hal's post.

And yes, the book soon to be known as Necromancer's Legacy is an excellent source for necromantic evilness. It's a lot more crunchy that the AEG book, and has a lot of nice flavor text and ideas entrained in the various items.
