(Mongoose) Wraith Recon Unveiled

Wraith Recon is the new setting from Mongoose Publishing, tailored specifically to the 4e D&D rules. With a full line of support behind it, and the main book due for release on October 1st, it is time to start looking at the brave men and women behind Wraith Recon, and seeing just what it is they risk their lives for!

To this end, we have prepared a Preview from the main book, and a special Introduction to the world of Wraith Recon. Both can be downloaded from;

Odd, no commentary from anyone yet?

I checked out the preview info. While it looks interesting, a part of my brain which does the Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter computer games is a little put off by the rather blantant similarities of the two. Ghost Recon.... Wraith Recon. CrossCom ..... SpellCom. It is jarring to me so, at this point, I am not sure what my interest in this product is at this point. Maybe after a second look if I can get past the blantant similarities....

I have the same problem. I like the idea, but the way the preview presents it the whole thing feels slapped together. Maybe the whole product has more depth not hinted at by the preview material, but it's definitely something I'll be waiting for the reviews on.
