Monk + Elemental Initiate

I'm rolling up a monk forthe first time and was interested in the theme fro its +2 to unarmed attacks however, the character builder doesn't seem to add this for the monk powers I've chosen, only my basic attack, even though the powers are listed as Monk unarmed?

Is this correct or a bug in the CB?

That part of elemental initiate is pointless for a monk. A monk gets +3 proficiency bonus with unarmed attacks and does d8 dmg. which is better then EI's +2/d6. OTH the unarmed strike is only useful for the melee basic attacks, which most monks, with exception of high str stone fist monks, are terrible at. As above poster pointed out, all monk class powers are implement attacks so neither proficiency bonus nor unarmed dmg applies.
