Something I thought of in other thread got stuck in my head and I think its a real good idea.
New monk feat to help balance them out without changing the class.
Ki Power [General]
You can channel your inner reserves of ki and chanel them to your unarmed strikes.
Prerequisites: Wis 15, Improved Unarmed Strike, Stunning Fist, Ki Strike(Magic)
Benefit: You use one of your daily uses of Stunning Fist and your unarmed strikes get a enhancement bonus of +1 to hit and damage per 4 monk levels, untile the begining of your next turn. This bonus makes the monks unarmed strikes effect incorporeal targets as a magic weapon.
Normal: A monk spends one of his stuning fist attempts and can stun a creature as per Stunning Fist feat.
Special: A monk can take this as its bonus feat for 6th level.
What this does, first overcomes the new problem monks get with fighting incorporeal targets thanks to new update to FAQ on wizards site.
Second, overcomes what alot of people think is an old problem with monks being capable second fighters to the fighter.
When using this feat it gives him more bang on his attacks but he can't stunning fist that round unless he takes rapid stunning. Thats why the 15+ prereq so monks that would sometimes chose to stun oppents need to make choice.
It also frees up alot of +'s on the amulet of might fists to put things like flaming and holy on one since they still cost THREE times what a weapon does thinks it's balanced.
