Monk Movement Techniques and Multi Classing

Alright, so I understand full discipline as it relates to the monk alone but I'm curious how it works in regards to multiclassing. For example, I made a cleric/monk build and I can imagine a really sweet combo of Crane's Wings Movement Technique as my move action followed by Healing Strike as my standard action. This is obviously a really cool combination and would change the flavor of the class completely if it were legal.

So, can I use a movement technique from a full discipline power followed by a standard power from another class?

I know I can't use a movement from one full discipline power followed by an attack from another full discipline but I'm not sure how it works for multiclassing powers.

The only restriction on full discipline powers is that you can only use one per round unless you spend an action point. So the combo is OK, presuming you otherwise can use the powers. Perhaps as a monk multiclassed into cleric with the appropriate feats.

I don't really get why it's such a great combo, though.

The thing about full discipline powers is that you can choose to select either the attack or the movement. You don't have to pick both. You can pick both if you want though. What I'm asking is this:

If I choose to use only the movement of Crane's Wings can I then use Healing Strike when I finish the movement?

So far all signs point to yes unless someone can make an argument against it.

It's cool because it gives me a tactical advantage on the field, it allows me to quickly jump to my comrade's aid and let them use a healing surge.

but you didn't really need cranes wings to do that
healing strike heals some one within 5 squares

But what if the bridge just broke across the ravine and now the wizard is being hit with the hammer of angry orcs, whats a guy to do but jump across that thing and blast the greenskins with radiant deliciousness.
With the jump ability in place it gives me far more options on the battlefield of where I am able to go. The 5 squares of healing strike is an even better tactical advantage in conjunction with this.

I'm not denying it's useful and cool...

But the movement part of Crane's Wings just isn't super great unless you really pump Str and Athletics. With 16 Str and skill training, you're basically looking at a +13 jump check at level 1, which is a long jump of 2-6 squares. Unless you start your turn right next to a 15' chasm, you're often better off just using a standard running jump as part of normal movement. And unless some hybrid monk rules come out, the only way to get the combo is as a Monk who's spent two feats multiclassing into Cleric, a class combination which forces you to keep at least two stats high (though at least both Cleric primaries are Monk secondaries). I certainly hope for that price you'd get something cool.

And yeah, it changes the flavor -- that's what multiclassing is for! I don't mean to sound too negative; it sounds like you found something cool that you really like, so you should go for it! I just don't think it's anything revolutionary, as a Brutal Scoundrel Rogue with Great Leap can multi into Cleric and do pretty much the same thing.
