Monk Paladin Alignment

Why don't you take alignments out all together. That seems to be what you really mean.

The whole style of paladin is a holdover. Even its role in the game is one. You could create such a character perfectly well with a Ftr/Cleric combo.

Going by that philosophy we don't need any classes other than the basic four, including prestige classes. The right combination of core classes could fill any role.

Ok everyone, simmer down.
I think Ftr/Cleric could aproximate the holy champion but I think an actual class is better.
And personaly if it was up to me I would see the Law/Chaos part of alignment removed or at least much changed
