Monkey God and FFE

Since Michael let the cat out of the bag... :)

There will be an official press release very soon pending the finalization of the legal side of things. But yes, Michael is right.

MonkeyGod Enterprises has ceased operations as a publisher, sadly. However, we have worked out a deal for Highmoon Media Productions to pick up their entire catalog on PDF for sale at RPGNow.com. At the moment there are 5 adventures on sale at HMP's Vendor page, alongside our own catalog, under the MonkeyGod Presents line. This way we acknowledge the source company that gave us these great products, and make it easy for people to do a search for MonkeyGod and still turn up their products.

Plans are to keep releasing the rest of the MGE catalog on PDF little by little, and yes, this includes From Stone to Steel and Frost & Fur, both of which have been clamored for in PDF quite a lot.

Keep an eye out on our website, www.highmoonmedia.com, and the main news page here at ENWorld for updates on this new deal, and new products on PDF.

If you have any further questions, ask and I'll try to be as helpful as possible. :)

Cat out of the bag? The .PDF products from MonkeyGod have been up on RPGNow under HighMoon Media Productions for over a week...

I managed to pick up several of Monkey God Enterprise's adventures from some game shops that had them heavily marked down in price. I don't understand why they were marked down so far, because overall, they tend to be very good adventures.

Thus far, I've run "Magic Dump" & "All the King's Men" and both of them were very cool adventures. Both of them feature quite a bit of roleplay and much less hack'n'slash than many other adventures I see. They each have some unique features as well that keep the game lively.

Though I havent' run them yet, I also own "Hero Snare", "Black Ice Well" and "Hellstone Deep". All of them appear to be of high quality as well. I also have "The Dancing Hut" and "At the Edge of Dreams" but I'm not quite as impressed with those.

Woohoo! I own F&F in hardcover, but I'd love a PDF version too. Especially if the errata is already factored in.

I was teasing, Michael; sorry if it didn't come across like that.
The truth is that, while we had made the move of the PDF catalog over to our side, I was pending on Dave and Larry's approval of some of the minor details before making an official announcement. But as you note, the products had already been moved, thus anyone could have put 2 and 2 together.
That's what I get for trying to be funny. ;)

We'll see what can be done. It all depends if we can find the original files for the book. If so, I'm sure the errata can be worked into the work itself. If not, then it'll be bundled as an errata file.
Again, once we know more we'll be sure to let you all know!

No worries. I wouldn't have said something if it wasn't public, I actually thought you had already announced it.

And then, ZOWIE, I'm mentioned on the front page. I forget that sometimes people like, pay attention to what other people say on the forums. I'm not used to actually being a source of news.

Sorry I stole your thunder. I promise to hawk my little heart out when anything written by me gets put into your .PDF catalog. :)
