MONKEYGOD LIVES IN HIGHMOON MEDIA PRODUCTIONS
Former d20 Publisher Finds New Life in PDF Publishing Company
December 30, 2004--Miami Beach, FL: Acclaimed d20 publisher MonkeyGod Enterprises has reached an agreement with PDF publisher Highmoon Media Productions to continue distribution of MonkeyGod's catalog on PDF. Under the agreement, Highmoon Media Productions gains management of MonkeyGod's entire catalog for sale in PDF via RPGNow.com. Though MonkeyGod Enterprises no longer publishes gaming material, this new deal will allow gamers to continue to enjoy the excellent adventures and sourcebooks the company produced.
"I am very excited by this opportunity," said Daniel M. Perez of Highmoon Media Productions. "MonkeyGod Enterprises gave me my first shot at being a published game writer. Dave and Larry were always very encouraging and helpful to all their writers, and I am glad to have this opportunity to repay their kindness by ensuring that MonkeyGod's products remain in circulation."
"Although it is with some sadness that we let MonkeyGod Enterprises fade away, we are pleased that our adventures and sourcebooks will live on in the PDF form," said David K. Hurd of MonkeyGod Enterprises and Face 2 Face Games. "At a time when our energy and resources can no longer be focused on the d20 industry, Highmoon Media Productions has stepped forward to help us carry on. Daniel's talent and energy may be exactly what is needed to ensure that MonkeyGod lives on."
MonkeyGod Enterprises' products can now be found as part of the new "MonkeyGod Presents" line under Highmoon Media Productions' Vendor Page at RPGNow.com. The MonkeyGod Presents line currently features five adventures, and will soon come to include all the adventures published, as well as MGE's small-but-successful run of sourcebooks.
