That's what I thought too, but look at the next sentence: "You can decide to spend this point after seeing the result of the previous attack." That seems to imply that you can spend a point for an extra attack, resolve that attack, decide whether you want to spend another point, and so on.

That is not what I get: I see the next sentence simply saying that you can do your flurry, and then decide whether or not to spend a ki point to gain the extra attack. There is nothing about iteration.

(My not mentioning it was because I though that part at least was self-evident! Oh well…)
