Monster Feat Question

Hi all,

while looking through the MM, I noticed that some monsters seem to have feats without the corresponding requirement feats. I found two instances of a monster having the cleave feat but not the power attack feat. Is that intentionally so or is it a simple editing error?

It is intentional if it is a bonus feat. Monsters do not have to meet the prerequisites of a bonus feat. See page 19 of MMII.
