Monster Gift Set

This product has been available on Amazon for quite a while, and it's recently begun appearing on other sites as well:

It's also suspiciously missing from the WotC product catalogue, and WotC customer support won't answer questions about it. It was mentioned at GenCon, but without a definite release date. Since it's supposedly going to be released in about a month, I'd really appreciate it if one of the WotC people who frequent ENWorld could answer the following questions:

1) Are the books going to be softcover or hardcover?

2) Will MM2 and FF be fully updated to 3.5?

3) Will they incorporate errata?

I have it on pre-order right now, but I'll probably cancel it if the answers end up being "softcover," "no," and "no."

In someone's gencon post, they mentioned wotc doing slipcase collection of monster manuals 1-3, ala the core rules collection and the races collection. This is what I bet the gift set is.

As to it containing errata, I doubt it, unless the other collections did as well.

This doesn't mean much, because Amazon also lists miniatures as paperbacks.
