that's pretty cool, a web enhancement *before* the book comes out.

am i wrong, then, in assuming that the bladeling, braxat, and loxo and the other newer monsters are going to be in the MM2?

I think so. Otherwise it would dumb for them NOT to be there. Also there does appear to be that Death Knights WILL make an appearance. If the Desktops are to be believed... Though I wonder just WHAT these doombringers guys will be like.

Hmmm I always thought Web Enhancements were things that they simply couldn't squeeze into the book... therefor they are NOT in the MM2.

I'm pretty sure.

in the meantime, i just posted my version of the loxo on the creature catalog. hey, why not, since i did the silly thing about a year ago? i guess you can compare them, like many other monsters, to the version you see in the CC. our creature crypt is about to grow real big.

Half-Golem does look neat, reminds me alot of the half-machine template in Dungeon though.

Actually, there was a half-golem in the second edition Ravenloft monstrous compendium II name Desmond LaRouche. He was literally "half"-golem and was created by an accident, but the half-golem looks to be intentionally created in the MM2 web enhancement. So these are probably unrelated.

True but I think this also an attempt for Dms as well as players to have a reason for some aristrocrat go insane and become this BECAUSE of an adventuring mishap. That or someone wanted to become immortal!
