D&D 5E (2014) Monster Synergy: What Monsters Work Well Together?

So in the DMG it talks about making encounters fun and lists "different types of monsters working together." What are your favorite monstrous combinations? What combos can prove deadly and which are just downright fun?

Shambling mound plus will-o-wisp is a great combo.

Things that restrain (spiders?) or knock prone (wolves?) along with things that do bonus damage when they have advantage (rogues, shadow demons, goblins?).

Extra benefit that goblins, wolves, and spiders are all classic low-level beasties that work well together in the fiction.

Mind Flayers and Umber Hulks.

Clay, Flesh, and Iron Golems with anything that does area of effect energy damage that they absorb. Example magma mephits in a room with an iron golem. Also any traps or terrain that does area damage, for example an iron golem standing in a pool of lava is a happy iron golem.

Glabrezu Demons and anything that can see in magical darkness. Drow would work too (Drow + Devils).
