Monster's Multiple Attacks: Full Attack Required?

When a monster has multiple attacks listed, does it need to take the Full Attack action to use them all?

For example (since I have its stats handy), a dire ape has 2 claws at +8 and a bite at +3.
I gather this means that it can make 3 attacks per round: claw +8, claw +8, bite +3.

By analogy to a PC's multiple attacks, I would guess that the bite requires a full attack, but can the ape move and still hit with both claws (since they're listed together and have the same bonus)?

Yes. See MM p. 7, under "Natural Weapons", 3rd paragraph.

A very nasty exception is the hydra. Each head can hit even after moving (or charging).
