Doppleganger anyone?
That's what I thought, too, but Doppleganger doesn't have Hide or Move Silently on its skill list. With only 4 hit dice that means it can only have 3.5 ranks in those skills (and they'd cost double of course) so by RAW it can't qualify without at least one class level.

Of course, if I'm the GM I just say "It's got Hide and Move Silently as class skills." :)

There are way to many demons in my campaign already, but now I have to make a succubus assassin :)

I'm always happy to promote evil and chaos. We at Abyss, Inc. deal in chaotic evil cruel and seductive, overt and subtle, clean and filthy. You order, we deliver.
And if you're in any way not completely satisfied, we hate you.

:]

There was a WotC module that had a ghost rogue assassin. It would watch you ethereally for 3 rounds, then manifest and use its death attack. What? You didn't anticipate the death attack from ethereally plane?

Edit: sorry, just read the "without class levels" requirement.

well, there aren't many creatures out there that have the prereq for assassine straight away...
...but there are many out there that would work well having the class (and may just need 1 or 2 classes of rogue before).

Vampire Assassines are very, very fearsome opponents (could use the above mentioned "watch from ethereal" - tactics with watching as a gas-cloud).
Drow assassines can be quite bothersome as well.
Ethereal Stalkers would probably make good assassines - but would likely prefer to stay with rogue-classes... if not commanded otherwise...

Efreeti nearly has all the prereqs for assassine as well - allthough I don't know if this would fit.

Wererats would probably make very deadly assassines... Tieflings as well...

I could imagine a gargoyle assassine to be quite deadly - considering their ability to hide on stone...

using their disguise ability - a halfling assassine that looks like a human child might well be very, very effective as well
