monsters with class levels

Sorry if this question seems awfully basic, but it's been a while since I've played this game.

If a monster has PC class levels, does it gain feats every 3rd level or every 4th level? I'm making a spell-stiched ghast sorc 5, just in case you were wondering.

If a monster has PC class levels, does it gain feats every 3rd level or every 4th level? I'm making a spell-stiched ghast sorc 5, just in case you were wondering.

It gains feats based off character level (which is = racial hit dice + class levels), every 3rd level. So a Ghast Sor5, for example, would have 9 character levels and 4 feats (the 2 feats gained as a ghast, and feats gained at character levels 6 and 9).
