Getting back on topic, is there any connection between BCD and the Complete Book of Eldritch Might? I ask because I believe both feature the Nexus, which I believe is analog to the city of Sigil. Just wondering. I own BCD but not CBoEM. I've been wondering if it's worth buying.

The connection is that both talk about the Nexus - BOEM3 as a gateway form place to place, and BCD more as a gateway from plane to plane. BOEM3 has more detail - I don't think there was anything new about it in BCD.

There's also mention of the Diamond Throne setting as one of the planes in common conjunction to one of the others described in BCD.

i was digging thru some of my 2ed Planescape stuff to help BOZ out last night...

well i came across this and well... :o got distracted

sorry BOZ... i'll try again tonight.

You know its good when Mr. (d02) Hat blushes about it. :]

Psion,

I think we got another BCM convert. :) I know for me, as an SL freak, these planes fit in well even with the slight nod to the Great Wheel, because I could use a lot of these planes as part of the grand "Unknown or undiscovered" Occult Planes or even planes accessible via the Astral or Ethereal since SL's "transitives" aren't exactly mapped.

Well, as dr nuncheon mentions, the nexus is covered in a lot more detail in (C)BoEM(III). Also, some of the junction planes that are listed for the various planes are detailed in CBoEM.
