Gray Elves! Such refuse! Gray Elves! Waste to be discarded! Gray Elves! ....woah, hold on there, a thousand apologies to the People of the Moon... I was only kidding and pretending to be as KaeYoss idly described the People of the Sun to be.

While "arrogant bastard" may be a well deserved title for some of my kind, most of my Sun Elven friends and I, never understood why the same had to be true for ourselves.

Indeed... I too agree that Races of Faerûn is a good choice, if you are indeed speaking of "Moon" Elves... and not just "High" Elves or "Gray" Elves.

I described how other races (and many other elves) often regard the Gold.

If I had may way, the whole elven people would unite - and then we'd exterminate the duergar and svirfneblin (and all of the dwarven and gnome races, at that) and teach the spider kissers a lesson).

Unite the People? Why do you think I worship Angharradh, the Triune Goddess and Queen of Arvandor?

While I may find some satisfaction in killing Duergar, I find the other races you mentioned more than acceptable and have no quarrel with them.

In addition, I would rather find a way to first redeem any deserving Drow, in an attempt to eventuallly lift the curse from their kind and restore them to being the Ilythiiri again, standing with the People once more.

Duergar and Svirfneblin (and by extension, all Dwarves and Gnomes) are not to be trusted.

Of course all elves should unite. It was all Lolths fault that they split in the first place: she betrayed Corellon, she created the Anti-Seldarine, she made the Ilythiiri attack the other elves. Because of her, the dark elves were turned into the light-hating race they are today, and she earned them the title dhaerow. Also, she makes the drow fight amongst themselves and suppress the males. Surly the spider-kissers are beyond redemption, and should just be crushed.
But not all drow are sun-hating underdark-dwellers. Some have turned to the right god and returned to the surface. If all surface elves (be them gold or black or white of skin) unite, they will be a force to be reckoned with, and an the best way to become the dominating race again.

Moon elves are just one of several elven subraces on Toril. The complete list includes Avariel (Winged Elves), Moon (or Silver) Elves, Sun (or Gold) Elves, Wood (or Copper) Elves, Wild (or Green) Elves, Aquarian (or Sea) Elves, and Drow (or Dark Elves). In the Yuirwood of Aglarond, there are also Star (or Mithral Elves), and there's a special kind of Tiefling that's a crossbreed of Gold Elves and Demons (usually Succubi/Incubi), called Fey'ri, but that one's very rare, numbering less then 100 individuals, all belonging to the same clan.
