My only problem is I would really want to test Google Wave before I committed to doing a project like this. I would need to know it worked well on my system and that I found the software useful before hand.

Ok, no skin off my nose. I'm really only looking for people who would probably help on the site due more to their community spirit and their sense of giving back to the community, as I, and now 63 other collaborators have been doing freely with no expectations of reward or thanks. This is just because we enjoy the game and want to share our labors with others. If I actually have to bribe or in effect "pay" you to help, then nevermind, I'm not interested.

Wow, I am sorry that you took my response in the way that you did. What I meant, and what I thought I said, was that I would need to test Google Wave on my computer before I could help. I am honestly not sure if it would actually work on my computer, due to its age, among other things. I did not want to jump in enthusiastically and then find out I would not be able to help because of hardware issues.

How old is your computer? The oldest computer I've tried using Google Wave on was an old Pentium III (800 MHz) running Fedora(Linux). Wave worked for me there, but it started to get a bit laggy after a while.

Let's see, it must be coming up on five years old. It has a Pentium 4 processor, but sometimes runs slow when using graphically intensive programs. Plus sometimes my internet connection is not the best, but that is another issue not dealing with computer age.

Wow. Offend much?

Wow. Offend much?
Maybe I was a bit overly-sensitive.

I interpreted his message as "if your gift is good enough I might help". I really don't want people working on the site who are only doing it in return for the wave invites. The wave invites, while labeled as "bribery" jokingly, are not really meant to be that. More like a jesting way of reminding people I need more help and people who step up will get a token of gratitude. If people are only willing to help in exchange for that token then, and no offense intended, I just don't need those people. I already have tons of people who are working on the site out of the kindness of their hearts, I don't need anyone who is only there because of the "payment" he received. Now, if I misinterpreted the posters actual intentions I fully apologize and I did not mean to be abrasive. It was just that his post came across in a way that didn't sound very agreeable to me.
