I really like this format. Thinking of adapting it to run factions, area of influence varies as they gain or lose strength, PCs get an idea whose turf they're on through scenary changes. Random encounters that demonstrate conflict between factions. Feels like a nice way to write up some ongoing conflict without prescription outcomes that can be influenced by player decision
