more powerful paladin mounts

Any sourcebooks on stuff that have rules for getting more powerful paladin mounts?

The PC multiclass paladin IMC is looking for options to become a dragon rider. I'm thinking of the leadership feat but wondered if there are any official sourcebooks with stuff on improving a paladin mount. I have a ton and access to more sourcebooks I haven't fully read so references that people know of would be helpful such as if you know there are applicable things in draconomicon, book of exalted deeds, complete divine, quintessential paladin, etc.

The only one I know of is from Defenders of the Faith 3.0 splat book. There doesn't appear to be anything "wrong" with it, so I think it is compatible w/ 3.5.

The answer is in the DMG on page 205. There is also something about it in the Draconomicon on page 139 if you are looking for dragons specifically.

Book oED is loaded with "upgrades"....

If you can try to get an sanctified mount...formally evil gone good..or just get the exalted mount for palidons..
