Morrowind meets DnD

Am I the only one who would rush out and buy the product if WotC was to license a plugin from Bethesda that allowed the player to game in one of DnD's established settings? Wouldn't you just love to play in a first person Dragonlance game or stalk the streets of Waterdeep?

*Sigh* Yet another thing to add to my "It Will Never Happen" wish list.

"never" is a mighty long time, SCT. I wouldn't count it out, even in the next 5-10 years.

If this were to actually happen, I would do a happy dance for all to see, even if only as an animated gif in my sig :D

I wouldn't buy this, simply because the first person perspective gives me motion sickness. Morrowind is a very cool game, but I can only play it for about 1/2 hour at a time without getting quite ill. That's one reason I loved all the Black Isle studios games like Baldur's gate. I can actually play them without vomiting.

Give the game a few months for fan expansions to happen. I bet it's only a matter of time before someone tries to convert their old D&D modules using Morrowind's construction set.

Heh - I thought I was the only one! Playing first person perspective games does this to me every time, even wussy ones like Spyro. Drives me nuts. :)

<feels the most abject sorrow for you guys>

Never known the joy of a three hour hanging on by your fingernails capture the flag frag fest in team fortress...

Or hearing that terrifying sound and knowing that you are being stalked by a cyberdemon...

*sniff*

Would drammamine help? It'd be worth it. :)

Part of the back story of the first game was actually apparently taken from the designer's D&D game. He left before Daggerfall came out, let alone Morrowind, so presumably it's changed. But the origins are there...
