Michael grins, drawing his sword. Growing a pair of wings, he begins flying forward, his eyes glowing.

[sblock=Albedo]Michael's description in the first post states that he has a Greataxe, does he also have a sword? Also, is Sean ethereal? If he is, then Michael needs a way to see invisible/ethereal things.

Assuming that Sean is still ethereal, and that Michael can somehow see him, Sean will manifest (standard action) and put his bow away (move action). His goal is to try and maneuver so that he can move into Michael's square with a move action (drawing his rapier along the way, which bumps his AC from 29 to 30), and try to use his Malevolence power on him (standard action, Will Save DC 24, no AOO for moving into his square to use Malevolence). If the Malevolence power works, then great! The fight is over, and Sean didn't have to kill anyone. If not, then things will get much more tricky.[/sblock]

The flurry subsided he seemed taken aback for a single moment that the behemoth remained standing. Only a moment however, that confident smirk returning as the first swing that came his way went wide, cutting through air where only moments ago stood his body. The swing left a brief opening, enough to tip his hat as he let fire with taunting words.

"Well, on the one hand I am impressed. You're the first one to take my basic technique and stay standing. Hell, you even blocked a few times. On the other hand, you ignored my offer, and flat out insulted me."

Ducking the last blow he stepped inside the reach of the whirling blade he held off his attacks for just a moment, enough to speak, enough to let his foe know precisely what was to befall him.

"Tell you what, I'll get more 'points' for bringing you in half dead then all dead. So how bout I just leave you a cripple, and we call it even."

OOC: Attacks forthcoming.

[sblock] yes you are ethereal, and you don't know if he can see ethereal. BTW, you do show up in the globe in the banquet hall. [/sblock]

Alrighty, heres the scoop. Yes Michael has a sword and an axe. The most important thing here is though, you are both on opposite ends of a globe and can't see each other. This means you are going to have to go around it to get to him (300 feet diameter).

The Vampire does not respond to Malefika's jeers, and stands off to the side smiling smugly as One of his two companions ventures off with her to battle. They talk to the robed men, and soon are being escorted down tunnel 11. This time, it is only a two minute walk, and they turn a bend to enter a walkway over a 1,000 foot drop with spikes on the bottom. A strong wind blows on the edges of the walkway, showing that flight might not be an advisable tactic here. The other end of the walkway lead to a spiraling walkway that travels overhead to a second walkway above and to the right. This walkway leads back towards the direction of the entrance and meets the wall in a dead end. A load voice booms out to the contestants. FIGHT!!!

OOC: Will post initiatives soon.

[sblock=OOC]Are we on opposite ends of the outside of a solid sphere? Or are we on opposite ends of the inside of a hollow sphere? I'm a bit confused as to what the battlefield looks like.

Sean puts his bow away, and manifests. Next round, he draws his blade and flies toward the opposite end of the globe, looking for his opponent.[/sblock]

Sean drifts through the air in the globe, looking for his opponent. He draws his blade, and keeps a sharp eye. He calls out, "You don't have to die, if you surrender to me, I will see to it that you are well treated."

Malefika winks at all those she was speaking to as she leaves. "Later. keep a watch, this should be fun." And then heads out the door. She attempts to size up her opponent as they walk, wondering which of her many tactics to destroy him with.

DM:
[sblock]Vatic gaze should tell me if this guy has any spell-casting, spell-like abilities, or other magiks. If he's a major spellcaster, i won't do any of my 'melee buffs' that I informed you of, instead I will Otiluke's Resilient Sphere around myself as soon as the robed man tells me where to stand. Otherwise, you know my standard walking buffs[/sblock]
